Donkey Republic operate, proprietarily developed pedal-bikes and e-bikes placed in pre-designated virtual hubs, through the Donkey Republic App. Operating as the truly sustainable alternative of micro-mobility to city visitors the company has also pioneered member services and thereby add a cost efficient alternative for commuters and regular local bike users. The company work in close cooperation with city regulators to develop broad mobility concepts.
After having started in Copenhagen as one of the first micro-mobility companies in Europe, Donkey Republic have spread out services across Europe to numbers of cities, towns, campuses and company sites. Donkey offer its services either as Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) operated fully by Donkey Republic or via partners in a combined Hardware (Donkey’s own bikes) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering.
