Spintop Ventures announces a new investment in Seven Stars, a Finnish pioneering mobile games start-up with an ambition to redefine the mobile gaming landscape.
The investment was co-led by Spintop Ventures and Behold Ventures, with Sisu Ventures joining as a new investor, and existing investors Failup Ventures and other angel investors also participating in this round. Seven Stars continues to be advised by Timo Soininen founder of Small Giant Games, a Spintop Ventures’ portfolio company exited to Zynga.
“Spintop is delighted to team up with the experienced Seven Stars team and our other gaming friends, and join their journey towards becoming the next gaming success from Finland, building on the promising early traction from their launch game,” says Erik Wenngren, partner at Spintop Ventures.
Founded just two years ago, Seven Stars brings together a wealth of expertise from renowned studios such as Moonactive, Rovio, Seriously, Next Games and Small Giant Games. With a talented and passionate team at its core, this remarkable fusion of innovative ideas and industry experience drives the company’s ambition to redefine the puzzle gaming landscape.
“We share the mission of creating games that merge short breaks into unforgettable adventures,” says Alex Le Bell, CEO of Seven Stars. “This funding is a testament to the dedication and passion our team embodies, along with the strong support from our valued investors and advisors.”
With the backing of forward-thinking investors from Spintop, Behold Ventures, Sisu and Failup Ventures, Seven Stars will be able to speed up its development process, enable team growth, and deliver high-quality gaming experiences for players.
