Spintop Ventures’ portfolio company Nomono is a winner in 2023 SXSW Global Innovation Award. Nomono is a pioneering developer of audio recording.
Their Nomono Sound Capsule offers a portable, all-in-one field recording solution built specifically for podcasters and journalists, that automatically uploads recordings to an intuitive cloud-based audio collaboration and preparation tool.

The award confirms that Nomono’s technology will be able to revolutionize audio recording, a bit like when megapixel cameras entered smartphones and anyone could take high-quality recordings, make clips on the phone and share with the world immediately, says Finn Persson, co-founder and partner at Spintop Ventures.
Nomono was nominated together with over 50 other startups from around the world spread over 14 categories. Nomono was nominated in the audio category along with four other audio startups, Vinyl Record Music Video from Tokyo and Mosi Nova, Happy Mama Birthing and Sound Sculpture from the USA.
