AlexisHR closes EUR 1.8 million seed round led by Spintop Ventures. The funding will fuel further expansion and positioning in the Nordics and Europe to simplify daily HR operations with the vision to become employees’ most loved people platform.

Alexis’ mission is to change the way companies deal with their people administration by making it effortless, simple, and quick.

– The Spintop team has followed Alexis for some time and is pleased to partner with the team on the journey to transform HR. Showing impressive key metrics and sustainable growth while solving major pain points makes us want to be part of the journey to change the way organizations approach their people administration, says Peter Carlsson, partner at Spintop and a new member of the Alexis board.

A majority of Europe’s SMBs still handle HR data using spreadsheets and other tools unoptimized for people processes, which can quickly turn into a hassle. A good example of demonstrating how the platform works is when someone reports sick leave. Normally this is done by sending a message to the manager. Then the manager manually has to update the payroll system, follow up with the team and follow up with the employee.

– With Alexis this process can be automated and triggered via Slack or Teams in just a second. The platform instantly updates the team, the payroll system and follows up with the employee. The market is growing, and Alexis will expand its features to simplify people operations even more. Now we will help companies save time and support better decisions as we shape the future of HR. I’m delighted with the trust that our existing and new investors have shown us, says Alexis’ CEO Nima Samimi

Previous investors Alliance Venture also participated in the round.

– We believe that the most successful companies of our time will be the ones that solve real problems, and Alexis is the perfect example. Showing impressive numbers, Nima and the amazing team will continue to develop the platform and help even more companies in Europe, says Anders Hallin, partner at Alliance Ventures.
