Spintop Ventures, a leading Nordic early-stage technology venture capital firm, today announces the expansion of its local presence in Norway. Kremena Toshev joins Spintop as Principal, responsible for expanding and leading the firm’s local presence in Norway while investing across the Nordic region.
Oslo and the broader Norwegian ecosystem are an important part of the Nordic tech landscape. This step reflects Spintop’s continued commitment to partnering with founders across all Nordic hubs, including a more permanent local presence in Norway.

Toshev brings extensive early-stage investment experience and a strong operational background to Spintop.
Kremena Toshev is an early-stage venture capital investor with experience across two fund vintages at SNÖ Ventures, where she supported Nordic technology companies from first institutional capital through international scaling. Her investment focus spans developer tools, space and frontier technologies, industrial software, and applied AI, with a generalist, operationally grounded approach.
She previously worked on the investment team at Agera Venture, where she also served as interim CMO for portfolio company Sponz, taking on hands-on commercial leadership during a critical growth phase. Earlier in her career, Toshev held senior roles at Oslo Science Park’s managing company, pairing entrepreneurial leadership with responsibility for large-scale innovation infrastructure initiatives, including scaling Cutting Edge into Norway’s largest science and technology conference with international reach. She began her career as an operator in a US-based biotech company.
Toshev holds a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, attended the award-winning Norwegian Entrepreneurship Program and Rice University, and authored the first Nordic study on entrepreneurial learning within an incubator environment.
In her role, Toshev will focus on executing early-stage investments and working closely with founders on key strategic decisions relating to capital strategy, team development and go-to-market execution, supported by Spintop’s pan-Nordic platform and network of experienced founders, executives, and investors.
